ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
Mr. DeCristo will discuss how product liability issues impact small
and mid-sized Oregon firms doing business in China. He will offer strategies
that businesses can use to manage the risks associated with product
liability lawsuits and recalls, with an emphasis on the possibilities
for a cooperative approach with Chinese firms.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Josh DeCristo is a lawyer at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt where he
is a member of the product liability group. Schwabe, Williamson &
Wyatt has developed a significant China practice in response to China's
rising prominence in the global marketplace and the firm's clients'
growing business needs in the region. Mr. DeCristo recently returned
from China and Hong Kong where he presented several lectures on American
product liability law.
