Alleviating Stress with Chinese Medicine

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

Stress can change your behavior, impact your immune system, intensify emotions and affect hormone levels. Come and find out how stress affects your overall health and how Chinese medicine addresses these imbalances. Find out what modern research has discovered about acupuncture and how it can help you relax and cope with stress in your daily life. Licensed acupuncturist, Tsueyhwa Lai, will provide sample acupuncture treatments to interested participants. There will be a question and answer period following talk.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Tsueyhwa Lai, DAOM, LAc is originally from Taiwan. She received her BFA in graphic design from Minnesota State University ‐ Moorhead, her MFA in visual communication from University of Washington ‐ Seattle, and her Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. In addition to her private practice, she coordinates OCOM’s Weekend Specialty Clinics and teaches courses in Chinese Nutrition and Language & Culture and works as a Clinical Supervisor in the OCOM Acupuncture & Herbal Clinic.
