ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

The China-U.S. Center for Sustainable Development is an international public-private partnership focused on achieving results to accelerate sustainable development in China, the United States and the world.

Miansheng Wang will share his perspective of energy conservation and climate change in China including:

  • Energy consumption and CO2 emission China vs. USA
  • Energy resources: conventional vs. renewable
  • The economical, ecological and social impacts on energy conservation and emission reduction
  • How China and the US can work together on climate change

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Miansheng Wang is the Managing Director of the U.S. Secretariat of the China U.S. Center for Sustainable Development. 

Mr. Wang worked globally for ESCO, the Ford Motor Company and the All China Youth Federation.  He received an M.B.A., with an emphasis on Corporate Finance, from Brigham Young University and a B.A. from Hei Long Jiang University in China.
