About the Lecturer:
Ambassador Wu Jianmin has served as China's senior diplomat for the last 42 years. He was a member of the first Chinese delegation to the United Nations in 1971 and has served notable Chinese leaders such as Mao Zhedong, Zhou Enlai and Chen Yi.
Mr. Wu has served as China's ambassador to France, the United Nations and to other international organizations. His most recent post was President of China Foreign affairs University in Beijing. He writes regularly for
various Chinese newspapers and magazines, has hosted and participated in both national and ministerial programs on social sciences.
