Established in 1977, the Columbia River Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association (CRCBFA) promotes the Oregon and Southwest Washington customs brokerage and freight forwarding industry as a whole.  They are a group of licensed Customs House Brokers and Freight Forwarders focused on maintaining the flow of legitimate international trade and education. The organization takes an active leadership role in organizing and participating in seminars and conferences which are relevant to its members and their clients. 

About the Speakers:

Dale Wolfer has been in the industry since 1966 and received his customs broker’s license in 1974.  Most of his career has been in Portland with a 2 year period in New York and Puerto Rico handling cosmetics for a major cosmetic manufacturer.  He has been President of the Columbia River Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association twice and currently is the Board Chairman.  He is Vice President of Allports in Portland and the licensed corporate officer for the company.

Patti Iverson Summer is President and Co-founder of Global Trading Resources, Inc. founded in June 1994 and a member of United Shipping, a worldwide network of independently owned and operated international logistics companies.  She is a Licensed Customs Broker and a Licensed Freight Forwarder.  Also a member of the Columbia River Customs Brokers & Forwarders Assoc., she has been a past president twice.  She is a member of the Export Council of Oregon & Southern Washington and is a recipient of the Small Business International Trade Advocate of the Year Award 2004.
